Get your group together, then reach out to Jillian with some general ideas and areas of interest! Is there anything you all commonly struggle with? Or is there a similar goal you share? Let’s talk about it and from there she will make recommendations on more specific topics to cover and the format for your group learning session.

Topics are endless, but some ideas include:

Pantry Clean-Out

This is perfect if you are unsure about some of the food items and ingredients you keep in your house and have dreams of a wellness warrior's pantry. I will go through what you currently have on hand and make smart swap recommendations to help you come up with a list of personalized pantry staples so you feel more confident about healthy food prep.

There are also certain items I recommend keeping stocked at all times so you can easily create healthy meals and lessen the amount of times you order out "because there's nothing to eat in the house!" We will go over some of my go-to lazy girl/guy meals in addition to the thought process behind them so you can come up with some on your own! It all starts with a well stocked pantry and a little creativity to make nutritious and delicious meals!

Supermarket Tour

Ever feel lost when you finally get to the grocery store? You wind up grabbing all these random things hoping they somehow come together in the end but oftentimes you wind up polishing off the snackables and letting the broccoli rot in the back of the fridge. This is one of my favorite ways to help you truly integrate healthy habits that become a foundation. Knowing how to shop smart not only saves you time, money, and sets you up for success, but it is also the key to sustaining your efforts so they eventually become like second nature.

Here, I will go over budget hacks, how to make a strategic shopping list that includes all you need for well balanced meals & snacks, choose produce items that last, how to read labels, decide between brands and different options of the same product (like tomato sauce, crackers, dressings, dips, cereals, etc), and more!

Recipe Makeover

Healthy doesn’t have to mean ditching all your favorite foods and the recipes you grew up on. In fact, one of my favorite things to do is take a recipe I grew up on and supercharge it with a little nutrition magic. It is SO important that we enjoy what we eat. I’d argue it’s the most important consideration when it comes to diet because we are then way more likely to stick with it.

With recipe makeover we’ll start with a recipe of your choice. You’ll provide me with the recipe, then I’ll get to work with ideas and suggestions on how to boost its nutrition in a way that supports your goals while maintaining flavor. From there, we’ll get busy in the kitchen together (whether that’s in person or virtually) and I’ll show you how to make your recipe with the new and improved nutritional enhancements. It’s like a face-lift for your food.

Meal Prep 101

It’s likely that at this point you’ve heard of meal prepping but I wouldn’t be surprised if you told me you haven’t figured out how to master it yet (or even attempt). The thing with meal prepping is it doesn’t have to mean perfectly planning, prepping, and measuring all your meals for the entire week in individual containers. Sure, it could but that’s definitely not sustainable. I like to think of meal prep more as “food prep.” It’s anything we can do to make our lives easier and save time during the week.

I’ll show you the best insider tips and tricks that suit your individual lifestyle, budget, food preferences, and of course…time commitment. You’ll be a food prep master before you know it and well on your way to reaching your goals because of it. It’s one of the best tools you can have in your toolbox.
